Eva - Micro Diffuser and Face Spa

An ultrasonic aroma diffuser fragrances your surroundings by using high-frequency vibrations to break water and oil into a fine mist. This mist is then dispersed into the surrounding air to release fragrance.

We recommend starting with 3-5 drops and adjusting based on your preferred scent intensity. Do not exceed 10 drops.

Yes. Use cool tap water only and never use hot water.

For best performance, we recommend cleaning your diffuser after each use. When not in use, always keep the unit clean and dry.

Do not leave water and oil sitting inside the tank for extended periods.

Follow these simple steps:

• Switch off the unit and unplug it from the mains.
• Remove the cover carefully.
• Empty any remaining water using the drainage side indicated in the product manual.
• Use a clean cloth or cotton swab to wipe the inside of the unit.

Additional care:

• Always store the diffuser clean and dry.
• Avoid leaving water and oil in the tank for prolonged periods.
• If mist output reduces, clean the ceramic disc.
• For stubborn oil build-up, carefully clean with a cotton bud lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.

Our aroma diffusers include an automatic shut-off feature and will switch off automatically after approximately 4 hours (please refer to the individual product page for exact run times).

Most of our aroma diffusers use ultrasonic technology and require water to disperse fragrance.

Our waterless diffusers operate without water:

• Rove uses atomising technology to diffuse directly from the oil bottle.
• Peri uses fan diffusion technology to disperse fragrance.

Please check the following:

• Ensure the power supply is connected properly.
• Check that there is enough water in the tank.
• Do not fill above the maximum water line.
• Clean any oil build-up from the ceramic disc.
• Check that the mist outlet is not blocked.

Please check:

• The water level may be too low — refill up to the maximum line.
• The power cable may not be connected securely.

Please check:

• The cover is fitted correctly.
• The unit has not been tipped or knocked over.
• High humidity or cooler room temperatures may cause condensation around the mist outlet.
• Moisture may have collected inside the cover — remove and dry before use.

If the diffuser has been tipped:

• Unplug the unit.
• Empty any remaining water.
• Gently drain excess water.
• Leave upright for 24 hours to dry thoroughly.

If your diffuser has tipped over:

• Unplug it immediately.
• Remove the cover carefully.
• Empty the tank.
• Gently shake out excess water.
• Leave upright in a well-ventilated area for 24 hours before using again.

Our diffusers do not actively heat the water. However, the water may become slightly warm during extended use, which is normal.

madebyzen® policy on BPA (Bisphenol A) 2018.

BPA is a chemical used to make plastics (including containers that come into contact with food e.g. refillable drinks bottles and food storage containers. It is also used to make some protective coatings and linings for food and drinks cans).

Some people are concerned about BPA because tiny amounts of the chemical can be transferred from packaging into food and drinks.

All plastics used in madebyzen® Aroma Diffusers comply with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Testing Standards Directive 2011/65/EU.

It is almost impossible to have a plastic that is ‘BPA free’, but there are acceptable levels set by the EFSA below which there is no probability of harm to health.

All plastics used in madebyzen® Diffusers fall within a very safe range; less than 50ppm=50mg/kg.
BPA free plastic are usually required for container of food and beverage, baby products and medical equipment.

Whilst Aroma Diffusers do not need to use BPA free plastic, we have taken steps to ensure that all our plastic material used are at the well within the acceptable levels and comply with the RoHS Directive.

Furthermore, if the operating temperature of the plastic is not over 100 degree centigrade, there will be no BPA released that can influence the body’s health. madebyzen® Aroma Diffusers would never reach these operating temperatures with normal operation.

Our diffusers do not use an exposed heat source and include an automatic shut-off feature.
However, always place the diffuser out of reach of children and pets and check that the fragrance or essential oils being used are suitable for your household, as some oils may not be appropriate for pets.

Aroma diffusers produce a fine cool mist rather than steam. Under normal household use, they are not designed to cause damp.

However, prolonged use in small or poorly ventilated spaces may increase local humidity.

You can use oils that are suitable for your diffuser type and follow the product instructions.

For best performance and compatibility, we recommend using our own oils, as they have been tested with our diffusers.

We do subscribe to the WEEE Regulations: we pay a subscription for the waste we create as the adaptor and aroma diffuser section cannot be disposed in the normal waste stream: In accordance to WEEE Directive (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive) 2012/19/EU this equipment should not be disposed of in the normal waste stream.
